Simply Oxeye Daisy seeds, so beautiful! These are one of the quickest growing wildflowers, whose open flower heads attract bees, butterflies and hoverflies. Also one of the most resilient wildflowers, these are often seen on road verges and in spots with more limited sunshine.
Each tube contains 20 Seedballs which will provide coverage for 1 square metre in a garden, or 3-5 medium sized pots. Each ball contains up to 100 seeds. Best scattered in Spring or Autumn.
The balls are made with a mixture of UK native wildflower seeds, clay, peat-free compost and chilli powder. The clay protects the seeds from wildlife, and once water has permeated the clay, the seeds inside will germinate, helped along by nutrients and minerals contained within the ball. The chilli powder deters slugs and snails while the seed ball degrades and and the seeds sprout.
