These delicate blue flowers grow really easily in garden beds and plant pots and are also great for popping into grooves and cracks along the edge of paving stones. They’re a short annual (will flower in the first year) with mostly blue and sometimes pink flowers. They’ll grow up to about 40cm and can be seen in flower from April to October.
Each tube contains 20 Seedballs which will provide coverage for 1 square metre in a garden, or 3-5 medium sized pots. Each ball contains up to 100 seeds. Best scattered in Spring or Autumn.
The balls are made with a mixture of UK native wildflower seeds, clay, peat-free compost and chilli powder. The clay protects the seeds from wildlife, and once water has permeated the clay, the seeds inside will germinate, helped along by nutrients and minerals contained within the ball. The chilli powder deters slugs and snails while the seed ball degrades and and the seeds sprout.
